FATPOT product features
FATPOT solutions provide interoperable tools that allow personnel to accomplish a wide variety of missions more safely and effectively under various conditions — from day-to-day operations to wide-scale incidents.
The characteristics of these products include:
- Speed. Communicating instantly with other first responders or organizations using e-mail messages, instant messaging, paging, verbal announcements and ticker tape alerts.
- Mobility. Submitting automated electronic reports from any location and streamlining administrative processes by using the robust FATPOT REPORTfusion™ system.
- Efficiency. Conducting one-click searches of multiple local, state, federal, and civilian databases concurrently.
- Awareness. Viewing calls for service, geo-fences, resources, features, and other details on the real-time digital map, which includes multiple layers of information.
- Interoperability. Sharing real-time dispatch information across agency boundaries so that agencies can work together more effectively. Providing mutual aid, for example.
FATPOT mobile programs are sometimes referred to as Public Safety Server™ (PSS) clients, FATPOT clients, or FATPOT programs.
FATPOT Mobile Solutions
FATPOT tailors its technology to fire fighting, EMS and rescue requirements. FATPOT software is a proven resource that runs on laptops and desktop computers. It gives first responders and other personnel instant access to key intelligence and interoperable tools. FATPOT MOBILEfusion™ technology and the PortalONE program help personnel to work more effectively by eliminating many redundant processes and paperwork. FATPOT software also promotes safety in the field by providing audible alerts, bulletins, ticker tape messages, and giving firefighters instant access to life-saving information.
The PortalONE program supports a number of specialized modules:
- Home. Accessing settings, creating a user profile, and using the text editor.
- Dispatch. Looking up aggregated information about calls for service and the resources operating in the field from multiple CAD systems. This module informs dispatchers and first responders where resources are and what they are doing at any given time.
- Messaging. Communicating securely across jurisdictional boundaries via e-mail, bulletins, and instant messages versus relying solely on talking over the radio.
- Mapping. Viewing calls for service, resources, features, geo-fences, markers, and other details on a real-time digital map.
- Reporting. Completing, submitting, and reviewing reports electronically, including, patience care record (PCR) and NFIRS reports. FATPOT's field reporting module supports custom electronic review chains and automates the mandated submission of reports to state, local, and federal databases. This product also provides tools that improve your accuracy and speed. For example, the Autofill feature saves users time and improves their accuracy by searching databases and prefilling reports with relevant data.
- Inquiries. Submitting one-click, concurrent searches for information about people, vehicles, addresses, organizations, or property in local, state, federal and civilian databases.
Fire RMS™
Fire RMS™ possesses FATPOT MOBILEfusion's™ capabilities but also provides advanced modules. (The product is compatible with all of FATPOT MOBILEfusion's core modules.) Fire RMS's advanced modules allow authorized personnel to access and update a wealth of information in records management (RMS) systems. This capability has many applications, including, managing budgets, keeping and reviewing daily logs, collaborating on investigations, and verifying reports.
Fire RMS system provides specialized software modules:
- Budget. Performing straightforward accounting tasks with an easy-to-use electronic ledger system.
- Evidence. Managing items of evidence and maintaining chains of custody.
- Facilities. Administering extensive information about facilities, existing and former occupants, and the materials stored within various structures, inspection records, and pre-plans.
- Investigator. Managing case assignments, collaborating with other authorized investigators, and using tools such as the Case Log and "to do" action list.
- Personnel. Managing personnel records, ensuring personnel retain current qualifications, and tracking training activities.
- Records. Using the custom search forms to search multiple RMS systems concurrently for information about people, vehicles, property, and organizations.
