FATPOT Mapping
FATPOT mapping technology is built into capable solutions such as CADfusion, MOBILEfusion, and mapVIEW.™ FATPOT mapping products render real-time digital maps showing the locations of resources (units or vehicles), features such as streets and buildings, the locations of calls for service, labels, and many other layers of information, which users can control with a user-friendly interface. FATPOT mapping solutions provide a Situational Awareness mode that allows professionals to use the Mapping and Dispatch modules simultaneously on the same screen. Dispatchers can use the software's mapping tools to 1) find and authenticate locations, 2) track resources, 3) calculate and plot the best routes between calls for service, units, and markers, and 4) demarcate areas of interest by means of geo-fences and markers. The Mapping module's Playback feature enables you to replay mapping data that is constantly recorded. For example, retrieve a segment of recorded data between 2311 and 2318 on March 11, 2009 and then replay the information on the map.
